    A suitable microorganism, such as a bacterium or yeast, is chosen as the host organism for TUDCA production. These microorganisms are genetically engineered to express the necessary enzymes for TUDCA synthesis. The selected microorganism is cultivated in a fermentation medium containing various nutrients. The culture is carefully controlled to provide optimal growth conditions for the microorganism, allowing it to multiply and produce the desired enzymes.

    The fermentation medium is supplemented with specific precursors that serve as building blocks for TUDCA synthesis. These precursors are typically plant-derived compounds that can be metabolized by the microorganism into TUDCA. The microorganism's genetically engineered enzymes catalyze a series of chemical reactions, converting the precursors into TUDCA. This process involves multiple steps, with each enzyme performing a specific transformation.

    Once the fermentation is complete, the TUDCA is separated from the fermentation broth through various purification techniques. These methods may include filtration, chromatography, and other separation processes to isolate and concentrate the TUDCA.Formulation: The purified TUDCA is then formulated into the desired product format, such as capsules, tablets, or powders, for ease of consumption as a dietary supplement.
